Support groups are an important means of coping with life’s challenging experiences.  Transportation to meetings is available through BASCC for those living in the Birmingham School District for $2.00/one way; $3.00/round trip.  BASCC membership is not required to participate in a support group.  If you or someone you know might benefit from a support group, call the Outreach Department for more information at 248-203-5270. 

EARLY STAGE MEMORY LOSS SUPPORT GROUPS

Sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Michigan Chapter, the groups meet monthly the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m.  New participants, both early stage participants and care partners are now being accepted.  Early stage participants must be interviewed prior to attendance.  If you are interested in registering for this program, please contact the Harry L. VISION ENRICHMENT GROUP

Meets monthly for those who are visually challenged on the third Wednesday at 10 am.  Call the BASCC Outreach Department for more information.
